VETERANS HELPING VETERANS USA

For many years,  ►Cox Communications has been a generous supporter of Veterans here in ►Marion County, Florida. One of the many connections made over the years is their annual Memorial Day Wreath donation. Every year on the Friday prior to Memorial Day, a group of Cox Communications employees descends upon ►Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park. They bring a beautiful wreath to honor The Fallen - those who wrote a blank check to the United States of America by serving in our Armed Forces and making the ultimate sacrifice while doing so.
 
This year, the Cox Communications contingent met in the Park with Marion County Assistant County Administrator Amanda Tart and Marion County Veterans Services Director Jeffrey Askew. During their visit, we were able to capture the heartfelt patriotism exuded by the Cox Communications employees through videos and photos.
 
Near the conclusion of the visit, ACA Tart and Director Askew presented each of the Cox Communications employees with a Marion County Veterans Services Challenge Coin, a Travel Mug, an American Flag and other gifts. Thank you to Cox Communications for your unyielding support over the years to Marion County Veterans. We look forward to a fruitful relationship for many years to come!
